Leela — Terms of Use

Leela is a game of self-knowledge made by EvaSoftPro. By using the app or the website you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

The game

Leela is an ancient board game retold for reflection: you set an intention, roll the die and read what the squares and the AI Guide say. Your first game is free. We may change, improve or retire features of the game; when a change affects a paid subscription, we tell you in the app.

Leela Plus subscription

Leela Plus unlocks more games with the Guide. It is sold through Google Play as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription; the price and period are shown on the purchase screen before you pay, and Google Play charges your Google account.

Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends. If the price changes, Google Play tells you in advance as its rules require.

Free trial

A plan may start with a 7-day free trial, shown on the purchase screen. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription starts and Google Play charges you for the first period. A free trial is available once per Google account.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel anytime in Google Play: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Leela → Cancel subscription. Leela Plus stays active until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. If you reinstall the app or change phones, use Restore purchases on the subscription screen.

The AI Guide is not advice

The Guide's words are written by a language model. They are a prompt for your own reflection, not therapy, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and they may be inaccurate. Do not make important decisions based only on the game. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.

Using Leela fairly

Please do not misuse the service: no attempts to bypass limits or payment, overload or reverse-engineer our servers, or use the Guide to produce illegal or harmful content. We may limit or close access for such use. The texts, art and design of Leela belong to EvaSoftPro; your intentions and answers remain yours.

Age

Leela is intended for people aged 16 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms and to any purchase.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Leela is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, EvaSoftPro gives no warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the game. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Leela Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
